Created by Dr. Edmund Jacobson in the early 1920’s to treat anxiety has recently been found effective for the treatment of: headaches, migraines, temporo-mandibular joint disorder TMJ, neck pain, insomnia, anxiety, backaches and high blood pressure.
This is an exercise that relaxes your mind and body by progressively tensing and relaxing muscle groups throughout your entire body.
